When it is flapping, I cant stay logged in for more than 5 seconds. Do I need to remove the unit from the atack in the CLI before I connect the second cable?

The show commands can all be run while the cable is unplugged. The logs as well, show logging. Just look for what is logged around the time that the cable was plugged in and the issue was occurring.

before problem existed between two nodes with team-nic, port-channels 21 & 22 between two-switch stack, one port-channel for one node obviously - and that did not work. Firmware was 3.7.x
